Eric Lombardo, President

Mr. Lombardo has been an innovator in EHR technologies since the late 1980's. As a co-founder of Streamline Health Solutions, Inc. in 1989 he was a pioneer of early Electronic Health Record (EHR) adoption and later led his company to be the first vendor to offer the creation and access of electronic patient records from an affordable Software as a Service (SaaS) delivery platform.

Starting with only three employees, Streamline Health Solutions experienced tremendous and consistent growth as an early EHR vendor during its first seven years, moving through all the growth stages from start-up, to venture funding, and on to a successful IPO. The proceeds of the IPO allowed the company to pioneer SaaS delivery of health records and to create an entire set of applications that were designed to automate provider business offices with respect to Revenue Cycle Management (RCM). Streamline Health's leadership position in the EHR and RCM sectors led to successful implementations at some of the most prestigious healthcare institutions in the country including:

– Beth Israel Medical Center – Memorial Sloane Kettering Cancer Center
– Riverside Methodist-Ohio Health – Parkview Health Systems
– University of Pittsburgh Medical Center – M.D. Anderson Cancer Center
– Texas Health Resources – Stanford University Medical Center

As President SaaS Division, helped to formulate and set the strategic direction for sales and drove revenue growth. Expanded the Software as a Service (SaaS) business model and focused on strategic business partner development with C-level contacts. Success with corporate development activities led to strong relationships and reseller agreements with Fortune 500 companies such as GE Medical, Siemens and Lanier. Departments that benefited from Streamline SaaS applications included:

– Physician Orders & Amb. Scheduling – Patient Registration
– Clinician Access to Patient Records – Financial Screening & Insurance Verification
– Chart Completion & Electronic Signature – Business Office EDI & Correspondence
– Medical Coding – EOB Processing & Cash Posting
